Typhoon(颱風) is a great spiral-shaped(螺旋形),
counterclockwise(反時鐘) movement of air.
It forms over tropical oceans(熱帶海域) when a large mass of air becomes more heated than usual.
Typhoon often strikes(侵襲) fiercely(猛烈地) the South Sea Islands, the Philippines, Taiwan and Japan,
and they arise from tropical waters near the equator(赤道).
